Some of my artwork was featured this morning on a BBC1 documentary called Britain’s Empty Homes Revisited.
The show was revisiting families who have been converting unusual properties into homes, and focused on the Yau’s who have converted a church into a house. As well as conducting an interview infront of one of my large canvases, the family talked about how I have been painting the pipes from the organ that was originally in the church, and also showed two more of my canvases and a portrait I painted for the family of them infront of their build.
UK visitors can watch it again online on BBC Iplayer at the following link: http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b01r6dsz/Britains_Empty_Homes_Revisited_Episode_11/

Here’s a short time lapse video I made of my latest creature crowd mural.

My latest canvas, a commissioned family portrait. In the past I’ve always tried to put people off having a portrait done by me because they’re not exactly the most flattering or accurate! I’ve done a few recently though and the owners have all loved them, so do get in touch if you are interested in something similar, and I can send you the photos of the people the characters are based on and more information. I enjoyed doing this one a lot, especially thought it was a nice touch by the family to have their dogs included in it.

I have 3 paintings, 3 prints, 2 hand painted bowling pins and 1 hand painted organ pipe in this exhibition opening at Fairfields in Basingstoke tomorrow.
The gallery is below my studio so if you are thinking of coming down for it, send me an email in advance and I’ll invite you upstairs to look through the rest of my work.
